rugged cliffs and untamed shorelines,
burning fire, ancient trees,
and the quiet depth of silent forests.
The contrasts that define life itself
the rhythm of the seasons, shadow and light,
the sun and the moon
a constant reminder of nature’s cycles,
moving through endless phases of creation and renewal.
Each piece is brought to life through sculpting in wax, using ancient sand casting techniques,
or forged from scratch in recycled precious metals.
Natural gemstones are carefully selected
to reflect our raw aesthetic.
A slow, intuitive process using hand tools, fire, timeworn hammers, and an anvil. RUW embraces the unexpected, allowing tools and materials to reveal their own marks.

Background
Currently living and working in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. I was born in 1989. At the age of sixteen I began my studies in gold and silversmithing at the Vakschool in Schoonhoven. After graduating, I realized through working that I wanted to expand my creative abilities which led me to continue my studies at the Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts and Design. After graduating there, my journey evolved into creating my own brand officially founded in 2015.
Inspiration & Vision
From an early age, I felt drawn to the impressive force and beauty of nature. Guided by my passion for traditional craftsmanship, ancient techniques, and hand tools, I continually explore how to translate organic forms and raw structures inspired by nature into contemporary jewelry. Each piece begins as an intuitive exploration, a conversation between material, form, and feeling. Through this process, I allow the piece to emerge naturally, shaped by both instinct and intention. Within the familiar dimensions of classic and wearable jewelry, I search for the tension between refined simplicity and the expressive power of organic, soulful shapes and structures. Each creation captures a fragment of nature’s spirit, a balance between rawness and refinement, intuition and craft, immortalized in precious metal.
